The Spectres rapidly grew from one Gay Games squad into multiple competitive teams, holding their own in Sydney’s toughest amateur league while being proudly out on court.
The club’s spirit shone through losses and wins alike, with players of all ages and backgrounds backing each other, showing up for finals and pushing for greater visibility in basketball.
